DO WE HAVE A RIGHT TO LEGAL AID?

 

According to Black’s Law Dictionary, “legal aid” means free or inexpensive advice, assistance or representation given to those who cannot afford it. Governments have human rights obligations to provide such aid in certain circumstances, particularly in criminal cases.
